US Treasuries rallied across the curve as a global equities selloff spurred demand for haven assets.
Yields on benchmark 10-year US government debt fell four basis points to 5.14% in early Asia trading Thursday. Those on policy-sensitive two-year notes also declined, and yields on 30-year debt — which until recently has been sold off heavily due to inflation and fiscal concerns — also fell.
