WHG, a Brazilian asset manager founded by former Credit Suisse executives, is adding to its newly formed local equities desk.
The firm, which manages around 20 billion reais ($3.9 billion), said it hired Lucas Rossi, formerly at SPX Capital, as an equity trader. It also added Matheus Videira, formerly at BTG Pactual, and Phelipe Francesco, previously at Vista Capital, as analysts. Daniel Debessa, whose experience includes financial services firm Monte Bravo and XP Inc., will be chief operating officer.
