Baron Capital, one of Vail Resorts Inc.’s largest shareholders, is supporting the company and its nominees, as the ski resort company tries to fend off a proxy fight against activist investor Oasis Management.
Ron Baron, founder and chief executive officer of New York-based Baron Capital, said in a statement Friday that his firm will vote for Vail’s nominees and support the leadership of current CEO Rob Katz.
