Nintendo Switch 2 sales plunge 41% as price hikes and memory crunch bite
任天堂表示，Switch 2 在截至 9 月 30 日的财年第二季度售出 267 万台，同比下降 41%，低于上一季度的 382 万台。季度内，任天堂在美国、加拿大和日本上调了 Switch 2 售价；此前年内已在日本提高该设备价格。
Sales of Nintendo's flagship Switch 2 plunged in its fiscal second quarter after the Japanese gaming giant rolled out price hikes amid soaring memory costs.
Nintendo said it sold 2.67 million units of the Switch 2 in the three months ended Sept. 30, down 41% from the same period last year. That was also lower than the 3.82 million units sold in the prior quarter.
During the quarter, Nintendo rolled out price increases for the Switch 2 in the U.S., Canada and Japan after hiking the cost of the device in Japan earlier in the year.
