Bolivia is monitoring global credit markets for an opportunity to issue debt at more attractive borrowing costs, Finance Minister Christian Andrés Morales said.
“We are getting ready so that if we find a window of opportunity, we can take it,” Morales said in an interview on the sidelines of the World Bank and International Monetary Fund annual meetings in Bangkok. He didn’t elaborate on how much the government might seek to raise, or what rates it would consider acceptable.
